Nice location
It needs a update its very outdated, the rooms were very clean, beds not very confortable, not much contact with staff, breakfast was nice. Good location as ur a stroll away from a lot of atractions. Still very expensive for what u get.

OK Hotel
The hotel was advertised as a non-smoking hotel, but my room smelt of cigarette smoke. It's a basic hotel in need of modernising. The cleanliness was OK and the staff were friendly.

Don't stay here
TV didn't work, room smelled like smoke, heating was terrible, dirty room. Only decent thing was the breakfast.

Overpriced Dump, but Don't Dismiss It.
Amsterdam is no bargain for lodging and this place, despite its relative low price, doesn't have much going for it except location. It's close to the train station, restaurants, canal cruises, and the action (including red light window shopping). The sheets and towels were clean, but not much else was, especially the filthy carpeting. Breakfasts are adequate for one with all cold food, except for a nice coffee maker than does cappuccinos and a toaster for a decent bread selection. The guy at the desk will fix you up with about anything, such as tours and a taxi to the airport (and maybe more). But forget the taxi which he quotes as "about 35 euros" and then tells you it's more like "50 euros." Two tickets to Schiphol will only cost 11 euros across the way at the train station.
