Very good 8.0
Good Stay
The room was smaller than expected. It was also a little cold in the room. Other than that, the hotel was very nice and I appreciated the amenities.

The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is close to the subway only 3 mins away.

The stay was amazing. Small room but worth the stay. The breakfast was delicious and worth it. The beds were comfortable and big enough for the while family. Would go there again.

Good 6.0
Underwhelming and needs an update for the price
For the rate we paid, we were expecting a lot more. The art concept/idea of the hotel is cool, but the execution is not quite there. To start, not sure about the other floors, but we were on the 6th floor and as soon as we got out of the elevator, we saw dirty carpeting with stains down the entire hallway, and storage cabinets with un-hinged doors. There were garbage bags and laundry bags in the hallway as well. The room we had was a Superior Twin and it was extremely small. It looked ok, very spartan, with a cool decal on the ceiling. It sort of felt like we were staying in a dorm or hostel, or a spare room at someone's house. The bathroom is even tinier and dated looking, which had the feel of either a boat or trailer bathroom. If you are on the taller side, you may have to duck to shower, as the ceiling is quite low. The vinyl shower curtain was old and had a musty smell. The room was clean enough, but it wasn't anything to rush back to at the end of a day of exploring. Location-wise, it was pretty good, in Den Den town which is walking distance to the very cool/retro feeling Shinsekai area and Tsutenkaku Tower, and also super easy access to the metro to get you down to Dontonbori and Orange Streets. Also within walking distance was a good cafe called "Brooklyn Roasting Company" (about 10 min walk into the surrounding neighborhood). Overall, the place could use a good scrub down and some refreshing. We would probably look for a higher rated hotel next time in Osaka.
