The East Island Reserve Hotel
My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom cottage for our anniversary week. It was so nice to just find our unit and settle in vs. the headache of checking in at normal places. The cottage was very clean, and beautifully decorated. Everything was just about perfect except for I couldn't find the iron/ironing board that supposedly came with the house. Other than that, great place to stay and we will definitely be staying here on our future trips to New England!

Lovely stay!
Such a nice stay! Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable! It was really nice to have the fully equipped kitchen too! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Nice looking but with issues
I was here with my 4 year old to stay just one night as we were attending my husband's officer training ceremony at the Naval Base the next morning. The location was a bit out in middle of nowhere but was fine for what we needed. For people staying longer, it's near major stores. We had a single room, king bed and kitchenette on an upper level (room 32) in the Lodge. There was a large stain on the rug, the decorative bed pillow had a red lipstick? stain, and the sheets had a small dark stain. The sink had a dirty sponge with crud on it. The fridge was not working. I contacted the hotel but as it was after hours (after 5), I could only leave a message. It is unacceptable that they don't have someone on site or to return calls for issues like this to remedy them during the stay in a timely fashion. By the time I received a call, I had checked out the next day. Shower handle was loose and wouldn't stay in place. The blue LED light shone brightly across the bed from a router. More light came in thru the entry door's glass panes from outdoor lights. Checkout policy states that you are to take out the trash bags and place them in the dumpster. While there was a large dumpster near a construction area, I wasn't sure if that was a construction dumpster or if there was another one more central to all the cottages and lodge. I didn't see any other dumpsters. Check-in is at 4, so you have 1 hour to contact someone about anything, or wait till the next day. Not sure I would stay again.
