Wouldn’t recommend if you have a baby/toddler
The hotel looks nice at a glance but needs a lot of touching up - scuffs on paintwork, dirty round edges of room. It is great that it had a hairdryer but it was attached too closely to the wall and you have to sit on the floor to do your hair. We stayed at the hotel with a baby. Our room was in the basement which is quite a tight stairway and difficult to get a buggy down to. There were no high chairs at breakfast and my son had to sit on my lap to eat. I wouldn’t suggest staying here if you have a baby/toddler. We were also woken at 5am with a scratching sound coming from the ceiling, sounded like an animal scratching around.

Exceptional 10.0
Very small single room but very adequate for one night stay. Clean, comfortable and modern. Excellent bathroom. Adequate continental breakfast. Less than 10mins walk from St Pancras/Kings Cross. Reception happily let me leave my holdall after checkout , to pick up later

Run down
Hotel was run down, flakes of paint missing off the walls on the stairs. Room was really cold as the breeze was coming through the windows. Lumps and bumps in the carpet which could of been a trip hazard. Wouldn't stay here again although good location from King's Cross

Poor 2.0
Awful
The pictures are misleading. The room was like a shoe box. The hotel was an absolute dump. Poor cleanliness and the room stank. Would avoid this hotel at all costs.

Very good! So happy!
The room was so lovely, modern, tidy and clean. The only downside was a small drain smell from the bathroom but after the bathroom had been used to shower the smell disappeared. The staff were friendly and accommodating with 24hour reception and gave us the opportunity to check out late. Very happy with our stay!

Great price for location and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and very well looked after. Will be using again. Free breakfast too which is a bonus.

Poor 2.0
Staff friendly, rooms awful, breakfast = meh
Disappointed overall. Made to look upmarket, however the first room we were given the air conditioning was broken. We went down to reception and the staff was very helpful in providing another room. However, this room was a lot more cramped than the first. There were visible stains on the outside of the blanket and hair on the sheets. At this point we were too tired to change again so we just made do with what we had as it was only for one night. The bathroom was poorly designed. You couldn't close the bathroom door and use the toilet at the same time as you would hit your knees against it, another fault was that the lock was also broken. This was embarrassing when staying with my partner and having to use the toilet. In addition, you couldn't open the shower door fully without it hitting the actual shower and the door didn't fully close meaning water leaked across the floor. The room's air conditioning did work, however when either on or off it made an annoyingly loud buzzing noise which gave us little sleep. We were looking forward to the breakfast as it could have redeemed our stay, yet this was also disappointing. Not enough tables for everyone, so we ended sharing a table with another couple, the selection of food falls very short of a "continental breakfast" which included ham, cheese and few bread rolls alongside plain cereal. They also limited how much hot water you could have for a cup of tea. We ended going to the local McDonald's instead. Very disappointed.

Room was OK - I was stuck in a lower ground room so was a little claustrophobic. Main issue was the breakfast options - I booked a room with Breakfast and found I actually couldn’t eat any of it due to allergies but to be honest there wasn’t much in the way of options - cereal with milk and all butter croissants - not ideal for someone allergic to dairy.

Very small room, but it is in London so to be expected. Beds were very comfy and I slept great! Staff were very friendly.
