Booked for employee staying on business. Clean and tidy, overall a good stay

Good: Nice cooked breakfast, free parking, free Wi-Fi in bar area, good location :) Not so good: Room had recently been decorated so strong smell of paint (asked if it was possible to be moved and was kept waiting for ½ hr only to be told that all the rooms had been painted!), tiny shower (virtually impossible to move once you’re in), no Wi-Fi in room, no toiletries provided, room had not been cleaned (found toilet paper on bathroom floor, tissues under bed, and a used tea bag near the kettle), no mug or spoon provided so had to ask :(

Just what the doctor ordered ,piece full, Quite, comfortable, with friendly staff,car park on site, good food, location right by train station, ferry near can not remember destination name. Over all ideal for my stay. Yes I would use again.A1

unfortunately the attitude of the manager/person who said she was in charge completely ruined our stay. she was brusque, rude and unhelpful. we had an assistance dog with us and were told that they did not accept dogs. the restaurant was closed so we had to leave the hotel to find somewhere to eat. no hairdryer in the room, we phoned reception to ask for one, nothing was forthcoming. we were told that breakfast was only served from 8-9am, when we arrive at 8am no one came in until 8.15 when we were told that breakfast was 8.30-9. luckily we did not have to leave for our appointment until 9am, however we were then rushed. the bar area was quiet until 10.30pm when a noisy party started with loud music. we would definitely not stay here again, the rudeness of the staff being the main reason.

People running the hotel very friendly and will go out of their way to help clients. Hotel very nice but with a little upgrade (simple things) could be far better. Breakfast (English) very good. Location near bus stop and train platform (not station) very convenient. Village very safe and tranquil. A rented car would be great, but buses also very efficient.
