2/10 Poor

3 star hotel at 5 star pricing
Very, very disappointed. Checked out after one night. The room was very dated and worst of all grubby. The bathroom smelt strongly of urine. View was very good and the location excellent. Use of SPA facilities (pool) is NOT included for most rooms, which was disappointing as our room cost £270 a night. Use of the pool is £25 per person. Also very difficult getting a time slots for dinner at the restaurants and the SPA which again is disappointing. I will say the food is very good and service in the restaurant was quick and staff polite. This would be ok IF you were paying £80 a night and on a work trip, it is not acceptable when paying £270 and on your honeymoon. Also disappointed with the hotel's reaction when we told them we were checking out a day early. They didn't seem to care at all. Will not be going back.

8/10 Very good

The advertising for the hotel shows the new spa which looks fantastic, but boring anything less than the very expensive rooms puts you in tHe older part of the hotel which is looking a little dated. Had a double bed which turned out to be two mattresses zipped together - so not very comfortable. The dining was superb especially the spa restaurant, although some of the waiters were new.

4/10 Fair

Booked 6 months prior. Room offered very disappointing, manager offered no alternative option so i asked for a full refund and went elsewhere. There was also a wedding going on with lots of noise, so wouldn't be booking there again.
