We had an excellent experience. The rooms were clean, the on-site restaurant was wonderful and the location was perfect - it was our base while exploring the rest of The Cotswolds.

8/10 Very good

The hotel was cute and quaint. We had a patio, but it was very dirty and the furniture was dirty. A little cleaning would have made our stay more enjoyable. The room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom had some broken tiles and rust in spots. We still enjoyed our stay, but a little attention to these details would have been nice. The bar and dining room were nice. So many cute rooms to hang out in and enjoy coffee or drinks.

6/10 Good

The positives were a nice spacious quiet room, polite friendly staff, excellent position in the village, nice restaurant, comfortable bed. The negatives room issues, TV not working properly on arrival, towel rail not working, no bin in the room, broken draw on dressing table. Housekeeping will only make the bed if it is completely clear of any personal belongings which includes nightwear!! Staff were very polite but there was no feedback or follow up on reported issues non of which were resolved from the above. No decaf tea or coffee & failed to replace the tea on making up the room. Surprised there were no daily biscuits supplied which you would have expected in what was classed as a superior room.
