We booked a Regency Executive suite for 3 people. We had access to the Executive Lounge, which offered a self-service bar and food from 6 pm to 8 pm. This was enough to be our dinner, so helped justify the price of the suite. The suite was spacious, but the lighting was a bit dim; the furnishings were modern, in line with the rest of the hotel, so seemed just a bit spartan. The walk-in closet was huge, with lots of storage; the bathroom was also very large, with 2 sinks, a separate tub and large shower, and a segregated toilet within the bathroom. Would have liked a second bathroom, if only just a toilet and sink. The hotel was a couple of blocks away from any attractions, but is close to the Metro; trams stop nearby.

We had a positively fantastic experience at the Hyatt. We loved this hotel! Our room was modern, with lots of light from the many windows. Beds were quite comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with quality amenities. The pod coffee machine was a bonus. We had club access and adored the unlimited access to beverages and snacks. Fruit was available throughout the day, with a larger spread in the evenings. It was a relaxing place to end our day - or get a bit of refreshment during the day. The breakfast was included in our room price, and it was fabulous. We were able to select from the menu, as well as indulge in the well-stocked buffet. Magnificent! I used the fitness facilities and the machines were well-maintained. Bottled water is available to you during your workout as well. The location of the Hyatt is great. It's quite peaceful, yet accessible to most anywhere you'd want/need to go. Tram access and metro access is just around the corner. We had brisk March weather during our visit, and that is why we were glad we chose the Hyatt as our base. Besides being a very comfortable accommodation, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. If we are fortunate enough to return to Amsterdam, we would choose this hotel again. I wholeheartedly recommend the Hyatt!

Nice hotel and staff
Nice hotel and good size room. We requested to change room twice and the hotel staff Katerina and her manager accommodated us to their best ability, which we really appreciated it. It is close to Tram and Subway stations so it was easy to get around town. The water pressure for the shower was very good! Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to everyone.

I was initially apprehensive about the location, which is east of the old historic center, but in the end really loved it. It was a beautiful 20 minute walk or easy tram/subway ride to everything. Across from the hotel are a wonderful hipster bar, ATM, grocery and wine stores. I liked staying in a neighborhood, away from the crowds of tourist. I stayed on the club floor, the room was nice with a view of trees, bike path and canal. The room had a fairly basic open concept bathroom. I had some minor design questions about the orange chair/ ottoman and the weird muddy green color of the wood, but that's just me being picky. The club lounge was nice enough, but was so brightly lit in the evening it was not so welcoming. Who wants to have a glass of wine in a room so bright you could do an autopsy? Also I appreciate the friendliness of the hostess, she was lovely, but she could really tone it down a few notches, sometimes you just want a quiet drink and contemplation not constant chatter. The breakfast room which is also the hotel's fancy Indonesian restaurant was great, a beautiful room which was by contrast to the lounge beautifully lit, warm and inviting. I would not hesitate to stay here again I just don't think I would splurge for the club floor.

This hotel is exceptional,in a good location. All staff is amazing !!! Great night sleep on very good mattress and pillows( not a lot of european hotels have this,so its a must when traveling). We had breakfast at the restaurant and the food was very good. Outside there is a nice courtyard to relax with a morning cofee and have a smoke if you like . Will stay here again if back in Amsterdam for sure.
