10/10 Exceptional

This is the 4th time I have dtayed at the hotel, and will be there 2/3 times a month in the future, I was not happy with being charged additional monies for service in the bar area, I normally go to the bar and purchase a drink, I was asked to sit down and a lady brought it over, but I was charge over £1 extra, on an already £7 pint, not what I expected

Good hotel ;-), charge for car parking ;-(
Decent room at a good price, staff were very accommodating moving my room due to a noisy adjacent room. The only thing to be aware of is there is a fair walk from the car park to the hotel and you have to pay to park your car £4 overnight which seems mean as there is loads of room, there is valet parking for those with deeper pockets!

4/10 Fair

We have stayed at this resort alot over the years the resort hotel and the manor house and we never have an issue but this time the room we were given was very old looking the roof had cracks through it it needed renovating as for the service we met up with some freinds for drinks and one of the waitresses were very rude to us we were celebrating a special Occasion and she just ruined that for us

2/10 Poor

Vile & inconvenient
Check in is not until 4pm, which I think is a joke as half the day is gone!…you have to park your car in the main car park and then go on a sponsored walk.. the room we had was absolutely freezing, and I had to lug my bag up the stairs because there was no lift, which was a struggle. I ordered room service, the menu wasn’t great so i thought I would be safe with the chicken and it wasn’t at all tasty, it made me feel queasy but then I thought I’ll make a cup of tea…only to pour in milk that had gone off completely and stunk the place out. I was glad to leave!
