Beautiful hotel: need more hot breakfast choices
This is the second time we have stayed at the edge hotel over the last 2 years. It is a fabulous hotel, very clean, modern, sound proof rooms, friendly staff etc. The only little disappointment this time was the plastic plates and cutlery used at breakfast. The choices at breakfast were great for those opting for a lighter option, however, for those who are looking for a hearty meal to start their day are very limited in options. As we stayed last year the breakfast experience was very different, there was real plates and cutlery available and lots of hot choices to choose from. The food provided was lovely, but I would recommend having more on offer in the ‘hot breakfast’ department.

Big comfortable, clean rooms with daily housekeeping. And a decent sized fridge. Free towels for the pool. Excellent pool bar and food is great at Jimmy’s on the roof. Only negative comments would be the ‘disposable’ breakfast plates, cups and cutlery. It’s not very environmentally friendly. The breakfast staff look like they’ve just rolled out of bed and can’t really be bothered to be there. Take your own hairdryer - the hotel ones are rubbish. The hotel is in a great location for the beach and bars/restaurants. Be mindful of the resort fee and 13% tax on top of that.

Horrible experience. Spend your money elsewhere!
Completely unhelpful staff to the point of being rude. When I asked if they had soya milk for my son's breakfast (he's dairy intolerant) , they laughed like I was asking for something out of this world. Then I went to the lobby to ask if they could arrange some for next's day breakfast and they said it wasn't possible. It would take them more than a week to get it in stock. Then I asked where could I get the milk. Only then they said I could get from the shop across the street. Unbelievable! The breakfast food options are also a joke and they use foam plates and plastic cutlery!!! Oh, and after the check-in I had to go all the way back to the car to leave the parking display ticket... I can't believe this is a 4* hotel!
