This hotel is very central to the town. We ate in the bar/ restaurant and the food and service was outstanding.

Nice Bar and Place To Stay
The bar and rooms were nice. The rooms were a little too warm with quite a bit of road noise, but all that said, I'd still go back and stay there as its a great location.

Good value for money and great position
Room was very well positioned for the South Downs Way, and food was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable and well priced.

Good staff but a little disappointed
Was a little disappointed with the room as it was very small, and needed cleaning a little better than it was , It said on the website, the rooms have a minibar , a safe deposit box , and biscuits, we couldn’t find any of these in our bedroom

Lovely pub stay
We stayed here only for two nights as we attended a wedding nearby. Considering this was comparable in price to nearby Travelodge or Holiday Inn we made the right choice. A very welcoming and nicely decorated pub, with a few nicely kept rooms upstairs, it really felt as if we were guests at a lovely house rather than at a hotel. We were instantly made comfortable and the staff were helpful and attentive. We had lunch at the pub itself one day, which was great. Our room itself was small, but advertised as 'cosy' so it was as expected and more than enough. Winchester itself is a lovely city and the pub is well located. Comfortable bed, clean room, nice bathroom, pleasant staff. Enjoyed our stay and nothing to complain about. If we were to return to Winchester we would stay here again.

Good but not great
Nice room, nice pub, very friendly staff. Only downside was the rubbish bins outside making a lot of noise at 6am

Bruyant / Noisy
Extrêmement bruyant, pas de double vitrages, les fenêtres sont d'un autre age et donne sur un rond point.
