Love this branch of hotels! Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The only downfall was no cleaning service d/t Covid so we just had to go and ask for more coffee for additional days and towels but the staff were happy to help.

The room/bathroom are a very generous size. Great breakfast, black out drapes was nice, and bed was very comfortable. The only complaint was the fan in the bathroom was whisiling all night long which I spoke to the front desk about the next morning

Absolutely perfect
Wonderful hotel. The breakfast was amazing, staff very friendly, rooms are big and kitchen well stocked. The shampoo is wonderful (wish I could find it online). Pool and hot tub was great. We enjoyed the outside patio and also reception (supper) provided Mon - Wed that was an added bonus for our family of 5.

Auto Break-In Central
There have been multiple car break-in's at this property. There were at least five that I know of personally over two nights. There are at least seven noted on Lexi Nexis crime map since January 1, 2022. After our truck was broken into I was told by staff that this was a known issue and that they were instructed by management not to warn arriving guests so they would not be scared away. There are limited cameras on the property and security only makes periodic patrols. The last night we stayed at the hotel after the break-in's various guests got up a different hours through the night to walk the parking lot. Several non-guest vehicles were observed driving slowly through the parking lot. We moved to a hotel outside of town once our vehicle was repaired. On the plus side the Rapid City PD responded with two officers and even recovered some of our stolen items. Private security also arrived after the break-in. The hotel employees kindly provided a small shop vac so I could clean up the broken glass and also provided tape to help cover our broken window. When your car is broken into you can call Nick at Elite Auto and Glass (605) 858-8263 to replace your window. He replaced our truck window on a Saturday morning for a very reasonable price. Overall this is a nice property in a convenient location for both guests and thieves but I would not stay again unless they have a full time security person onsite at night.
