    Exceptional 10.0
From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and very willing to help the checking process was equally efficient and our luggage was taken straight to the room We were situated on the 21st floor I have to say the views were absolutely fantastic . We found the beds very comfortable and the minibar was stock up with a few beers and soft drinks I would recommend when booking the hotel that you arrange the breakfast as well There was a good choice of food to choose from The only down side that we found was that that the Fried eggs were cold and the bacon as well but we asked staff and they sorted it out. The view from the cruise bar at the very top is worth a visit Drinks can be a bit pricey but they are anywhere in Hong Kong . Would suggest the best way to travel around Hong Kong is to use the MRT The one near the hotel is literally and I mean literally about a two minute walk . Checking out the process again was very easy no issues. If you’re flying into Hong Kong just use the red cabs to take you to the hotel as they have a sort of fixed price range it cost us from the airport approximately 500 Hong Kong dollars The journey is approximately 40 minutes from the airport If I decide to go back to Hong Kong I probably would stay at that hotel again

    Nice hotel, average local area
Staff is very helpful, very clean room, great views and a very cool roof top swimming pool. One criticism would be the food and drinks within the hotel, good variety but not that impressive in quality. Local area is not very nice, with a food market right in front of it hence smells a bit and it's not very clean when you get out of the hotel, but I can't blame it on hotel though.

    Very good 8.0
The Hotel Vic is very new, clean and modern. If I had know Hong Kong better, I would have chosen a different hotel based simply on location as there are limited dining options around. However, the MTR station is meters away and made it very easy to connect to the rest of the city. The rooms, although very functioning, were tiny for a family of 4.

    Hotel VIC on the Harbour
The rooms are a little on the small side, but perfectly formed! Tiny but functional and CLEAN bathroom, and with a tiny wardrobe, to be honest I wouldn't want to stay more than the three nights we did. The hotel is tucked away on what looks like reclaimed land that is being redeveloped, alongside a major flyover bridge! However, one block the other way and you are in the midst of everything!! Plenty of shopping and transport options within a few minutes walk. A tad on the expensive side for (a small) room only, but then everything in Hong Kong seems expensive.

    Very good 8.0
Club lounge the best thing about the VIC
So - I put a review up based on my check-in experience where we got 'upgraded' (by paying for it) from 2 double beds to a room with only 2 single beds (for a family of 4) - uh oh. To be fair, as soon as hotel saw my review on they offered us complimentary access to Club Lounge (we had paid for it) This was nice of them. I thought the Club Lounge was an excellent facility and highly recommend, However, generally. I think hotel is still in start-up stage - they don't tell you that children can't go to the Cruise restaurant on the hotel rooftop - so we spent ages reviewing the menu only to try and book a table and be told we couldn't take the kids. Also annoyed they didn't advise the pool is currently shut - one of the reasons we picked the hotel. We ordered room service and they got our order wrong - instead of chicken for the kids they sent fish! They said they would be 30 mins when we ordered so after 20 mins we went down from the club lounge...30 mins after that when food hadn't arrived I called them - they had delivered at 15 mins and not called back again....Because we didn't fly home until 11.30pm we decided to pay for an extra night so we wouldn't have to check out hours before. Called front desk to check we could stay in same room. They said we could...but then key cards expired - so they obviously hadn't connected the two. So as I say, a few learning points for the hotel but generally decor, club lounge etc. were excellent and good value.
