Staff were friendly. The room was basic but comfortable. It is within two minutes walking distance from zaandam station, which has regular trains into the centre (€3.50) and direct to the airport (€7) im sure there are passes you can buy that are would make this cheaper but I was fine with the price. I have stayed at this hotel twice now and would again on my next trip to the Netherlands:)

The room is really small but very clean. The windows do not open, and whoever was in the room before left the temperature set at 35C. It is okay for one night. Zaandam is a great place to stay just a train stop away from central Amsterdam. We had the rail pass so was very easy to travel around from This location. Hotel was neat and provided very basic amenities. The area around was beautiful. The only thing that was a bit of issue was lack of any storage space or any place to even store our bags. We have to leave everything on the floor. Other than that the stay was good
