Quiet, Dog friendly home in a beautiful setting
Clone house is a fantastic 350 years old farm house. It is in great condition throughout and is in a fantastic country setting. Our hostess, Svetlana, was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast included was also great, made to order and served with a smile! I would absolutely recommend it .Plus a major attraction for us was that dogs are welcome.

Very Good.
Stayed at Clone house for one night whilst in the area to attend a Wedding. Lovely big room. Very comfortable and clean. Very good breakfast offered. The owners and their staff friendly and helpful. Nice relaxing place to stay. I would recommend Clone House and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Peaceful pleasantries
I could not recommend better accommodations in Ireland than this! If you are looking for a peaceful holiday and a fantastic host I suggest a stay here. The bedding is luxurious, the gardens lovely, and it truly holds the country charm. It's a hidden gem on the emerald isle and I could not be happier that I stayed here. I will be back!

The building is a three century old manor house in need of much repair. Our first impression was not good, a large un-kept dog was running loose on the property, it barked and tried to jump on us. Not a very nice greeting. On the other hand the owners wife, who spoke very little English but tried, and a relative, whose accent was so thick it was unintelligible, gave us a nice greeting and tried to remedy the immediate problem, the bathroom. The private bath was once a shared bath with the door opening to the hall. A new opening had been cut into the bedroom in the form of a hidden door which fit poorly and had no latch or lock. There was no key to the hall door and I insisted on having the door secured for privacy. It was screwed shut. The room had one small overhead light & no lamps on the night stands. The fireplace was nonfunctional having the flue stuffed with plastic and a large crack in the fire box. Several windows were cracked & neither radiant heater functioned. The one in the bath only worked one night. During the night a dog barking in the hallway. Having wi-fi problems I found the owners wife in the "kitchen" area with the dog loose, disgusting. The wi-fi only worked properly if in the same room as the router. Breakfast in the kitchen was a variety of cereals, eggs, bread, meats, fruits, etc, ready for you to put together. No dining room service. House keeping was none existent. Towels were not changed, the bed was not made nor was the trash emptied. Left early
