Very Comfortable Stay
I enjoyed my two night stay at the Star Inn. It is located on the Moray Firth near to Inverness Airport. My room was clean and comfortable, and the service particularly from Katie very good. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast the first morning and on the second given a packed breakfast as my London flight left at 7.05am. I did visit the bar on Saturday night but it was too rowdy to stay. Perhaps a quieter area for hotel guests would be appreciated.

August 2019 - Great stay.
We had a very nice stay thank you. Some feedback which may help for future bookings is that due to the hot weather, the room - which was very compact got incredibly hot and uncomfortable overnight. Perhaps some fans within each room would help during the summer months? Our evening meal and breakfast were both excellent with great service also. Thank you.

Not for light sleepers....
The staff were lovely and very helpful, but I was woken by doors banging shut at 4am and again at 5am as people left. My room was at ground level and I had to keep the curtains shut or people walking along the pavement could look in. The glitter on the picture over the bed wasn't stuck on that well - I found some of it on my face in the morning. I couldn't get it all off, which was a little irritating.

What a gem.
A very friendly and atmospheric place. I was accommodated in a self contained two bedroom house opposite the Start Inn. Very good decor and comfort. An ideal base if you are on an extended stay. The only down side was the on street parking.

A real gem
Quirky, modern and spotlessly clean accommodation. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Some nice touches that you would expect only in more expensive hotels.

This is an amazing little place. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms are fantastic, very large and extremely well appointed. Bathrooms were excellent. The hotel section does however sit on the junction of B9039 and the B9006 and some pretty large vehicle pass through. This wasn't an issue to us but if you're sensitive to road noise, bear it in mind. The only other criticism I could find was the windows of our room opened directly onto the street and we didn't feel comfortable leaving them open. That said I was highly impressed with the standard of the rooms and the service provided. The Star Inn offers a nice friendly place to have a drink and the food was fantastic. There is a small amount of off road parking. Overall I'd highly recommend this hotel, the girls have done a fantastic job and we had an amazing stay. Will definitely be returning.

Exceptionally perfect.
Our stay here was incredible. The room was clean and beautifully decorated and furnished. The staff were very helpful and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. We booked a table for dinner, the food was excellent and the service was second to none. Breakfast was equally delicious and the chef even gave us some of his Stoneway black pudding as a gift to take home. I genuinely couldn’t recommend this place enough, we shall definitely comeback for another stay.
