Gorgeous condo and beautiful views
Let me start by saying that this condo was AMAZING. It was truly beautiful and well furnished, and if I could pick it up and drop it down in place of my house, I would do it in a heartbeat. The decor was modern and well designed and the layout was functional. It was stocked with all kitchen items we needed, a washer and dryer, the fridge had water and ice in the door, and there was a coffee shop downstairs. My favorite was the floor to ceiling windows that overlooked the city of Dartmouth. Our room did not have a balcony as in the description, but it did have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms when really we were supposed to get a 2 BR, so I wasn't terribly upset. Our room overlooked the shipyard rather than the Halifax waterfront, but I didn't really mind that either. As traditionally with a condo, there weren't toiletries included, so we needed to buy soap, toilet paper, and paper towels for the week we stayed. The underground parking garage was a bit hard to navigate and a little small for the giant SUV we rented, but parking being included in the rental was nice. My only problem, and the reason I can't give this rental a perfect score, it was HOT in the condo. Canadian summer isn't terribly hot, and it was mild outside, but the windows that I loved so much heated up the condo to an uncomfortable level. Whether or not the shades were open didn't seem to matter much, and the 3 small crank windows (1 in each room) gave no relief. We ended up buying fans and still sweating.
