Amenities & size of room described in listing didn't match the room provided- the square footage, that there was a desk and dresser included, etc. Hotel staff on night 1 agreed with us and made promises to move me, and then essentially changed their mind and decided on day 2 there wasn't anything they could do. Room cleaning was poorly done, floors were never properly swept (even before we arrived) so there was always a film of sand. Furniture was really dilapidated - especially outdoor furniture on the patio, which is shown in photos as being private but is not at all private... it's very attached to the neighbors. Overall feels very run down, not well maintained or cleaned, putting it more like a 2-3 star motel vs. a 4 star hotel. Amenities like the pool and proximity to beach were the pluses. Food was a mixed bag - some of it was great. All was pricey but that was ok if it was delicious - $24 for individual pizza was fine with us because the pizza was good, $26 for 2 tiny pieces of chicken on a skewer that weren't cooked all the way through seemed nuts.

Having the the beach and a heated pool was terrific as was the room. It was definitley perfect for a quick get a way. Easy walking distances for places to eat. Chairs at the beach and lounges at the pool were comfortable and the staff was ery attentive. I have been going to Montauk for 30 or more years and this is a breath of fresh air compared to the other places that have yet to update. Will definitely be back.

Such a beautiful and convenient property. First time there and with our baby, and it was such a great experience. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The site was so convenient with beach, pool, and restaurant steps from the room. The smores at the fire pits were really a cute experience. Close to town and the room was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed our stay at Marram and would return in the future. The beach is beautiful and they have more than enough chairs and umbrellas to go around. Staff was friendly and helpful and the property was very well maintained. The location is great and easily walkable to most areas. They have bikes available as well if you are going a bit further. The only holding me back from rating it higher was the lack of a gym on-site.
