Great for a short time
Stayed here Sunday to Wednesday, it was a cosy small studio apartment which was a bit cramped for my liking, the fridge was noisy and woke me up in the middle of the night, the bathroom has no shelves or any opportunities to put anything anywhere, the wardrobe had 4 coathangers and no shelves either, bring your own toilet paper with you as this was the first thing we had to buy after checking in, the showers was good as was the quality of the bed, linen and towels, location was close to all the amenities of Stratford, I would stay again but in a different apartment

Good apartments, but not quite perfect
Nice apartment, two good sized bedrooms and a decent size open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Decent bathroom too. Be warned, the apartments are on three floors and the lift was out of order and looked like it had been for a while. I saw a 91 year old lady struggling up to the top floor, not good. Also, their laundry service leaves huge piles of I presume clean laundry in most of the passages, passable but tricky if you have a buggy or wheelchair. My Mrs also complained that there wasn’t enough storage in the bathroom.

Catalogue of disasters
Email with details of how to get into the apartment never arrived so first phone call was to the number on the booking who passed me to another person who ran the operation. The second person sent the email direct to my personal account. Then came a catalogue of disasters: Lift out of order (bad back and top floor not conducive to this..) Bathroom door handle broken (had to leave a towel on floor propping open the door so that couldn’t get locked in) Nothing to hold on to to get into bath, explains why the radiator was not attached to the wall as a previous occupant had obviously thought that was the means by which one climbed into the bath Neat kitchen but nothing to wash crockery and cutlery with, so unclean when we arrived Door from hallway into lounge area makes it awkward to get into bedroom Unable to open window on far side of lounge without it scraping off the plaster from the area above the window inset Rather strong smelling drains Number lock on front door broken so doors had to be left open at all times (security issue?) Many of these issues were reported immediately after arriving but received no response.

Nice couple of days in Stratford upon Avon
Quite small for a family of four with teenagers, but it was nice to have kitchen facilities. It was quite noisy outside the building and was in a strange location. Very very clean, though, which was nice.

Easy walk in to town if you turn right out of car entrance and right again.Even quicker if the gates are open opposite the building entrance! Had to get in touch wiith main office and they were very accomadating. The side gate code did not work and the main entrance code was being fixed. There were a lot of linen bags lying around which wasn't a problem but didn't look very tidy!
