Beautiful property. Extremely clean. Great set up for families, we had a double room with an adjoining twin. Lovely breakfast each morning, simple but varied. Serena and Yulia were both very helpful and welcoming. Really like the little touches like the insect repellent at reception to douse yourself in before you stepped out in the evening (we got bitten a lot in Lucca Old Town) and the ear plugs in the room (The property is on a main road). We stayed in room 9. We loved the unusual decor,cleanliness, the friendly staff, the good size of shower (not being the thinest of people), the air conditioning that worked really well, breakfast and the drinks and bits to eat in the basement dining room availability 24 hours per day. It also has a car park which was a worry if it did not have one. The only issue we had was the place has no lift which meant we had to leave our large suitcase in the car.

I stay in many hotels and the service from this was excellent. Girls on Reception and breakfast service could not have been more helpful. If you bring a car, bring a small one, and pay for under cover parking €15 per day. Worth it. Lucca is a lovely old. walled city, park up and follow advice of the staff as to what to do and what to see. Have an opera aria taster, organ recital, walking tour or just walk the walls and choose from any number of places for an aperitivo and then dinner.
