Not bad not great
The place was really nice. The problems were parking was horrendous. There were 2 nice big cockroaches is in the hallway. The hallway in front of our door the carpet was dirty. And inside the insulation from the heating and ventilation system kept on blowing out into the apartment.

Apartment is at the edge of a nice area. Great having way-mart right around the corner. Convenient for convention center as well. The space was nice but needed a deep cleaning. Blinds were dusty, questionable stain on the couch, floor a bit dusty. Appliances all wonderful. Bathrooms in great shape. The building common areas reek of mildew. There were 2 wet and possibly moldy spots on the walls. We ran down the hall as quickly as possible. There was also a homeless gentleman who had taken up residence in the doorway. He has some mental issues and yelled a lot but was harmless. The Pizza Hut across the street sucks. Don’t go there.

Seedy location but overall good stay
First, building needs desperately to be marked with numerical address, it is very difficult to find especially after dark. It seems as though you're entering a dark factory but then opens up into a very nicely-furnished apartment with a super huge shower room, that was nice! Main detractors were the there being no readily available maintenance staff and super thin walls and ceiling. Otherwise it is in a bit of a sketchy part of town but is close to Walmart and a bus stop if you're interested in public transport around the city. I would stay in an apartment like this again in a different location. Furnishing and comfort was much improved over hotel.

Wrapped like a hotdog in the foam mattress
The physical loft was nice. Spacious & surface perfect. What we found after actually staying there is why it gets a big "nope". The only bed was the worst bed I have ever slept on. The mattress was foam - the kind that forms to your body - it was thick enough, however, it requires either slats on the frame or a box spring for support. After a miserable night one, we lifted the mattress to discover that it was simply sitting on a regular metal frame. This caused it to sink into the mold of the frame and form a cocoon around you as you slept. We drug it out in the living room and slept with the mattress directly on the floor for support. It was much better Next, there were no extra blankets and it was a chilly weekend in NOLA. What would it hurt to have one in the top of the closet? Finally, after an long day all we wanted to do was come back to our loft, relax and watch a little TV. Nope. I spent two hours trying to convince the customer service professional that we absolutely did not have a smart TV or Roomcast device attached to the TV (stream is the only available option) they sent over a representative at 10:30 PM with only a remote - not the actual streaming device. He had to leave and come back an hour later with the entire set up. How do they not check the unit each time for the basics? I require two creature comforts when I travel- a good bed and a decent TV. Sonder failed at both.

Really liked the hardwood floors and exposed brick. Having a washer and dryer was very nice. Area was a little sketchy. Looks like a safe house from outside. Seemed like unit wasn't completely finished out. Wires were hanging out of the wall. Tiles were also cracked and moving in both bathroom and kitchen.
