I would stay here again any day.
Perfect hotel, I a fantastic location for solo female traveller. I had done lots of research and compared lots of hotels in Lisbon, and chose this one due to location, value for money and based on others reviews. I was not disappointed, the area is perfect for walking distance to sightseeing, local transport, particularly the tourist buses and airport bus. Even in low season, there are always people around, which is good from a safety aspect, it is also a well lit area and I felt completely comfortable at all times of the day and night. The actual hotel itself is beautiful, very homely when you walk in, almost like walking into somebody’s lounge, in a good way! The check in was easy, the staff were perfectly friendly, and helpful. I didn’t eat whilst I was there, but the option of restaurant and room service was nice. I did have a couple of drinks from the bar, staff were chatty which was nice. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with all the amenities you would expect, plus a bottle of wine, which was such a nice touch, things like that just make all the difference between large hotel chains and these more personable establishments. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to singles, couples or families, and would certainly stay there again if I am ever in Lisbon, hoping to get the same experience any time of the year.

Stylish Wine Hotel - more than just wine!
There are so many hotels to choose from in Lisbon but this one jump out at us and really pleased we chose this small but very well run establishment. It was perfect for our short stay but would recommend as a longer stays base. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are exceptionally comfortable plus a complimentary bottle of wine! delicious breakfast & the evening tapas menu we sampled was very tasty, especially the chocolate & cherry moose. The wines too - are excellent. Great location easy to walk and there's funicular lifts, buses & metro really close (the airport bus drops & leaves from just around the corner). Many restaurants on the doorstep, yet it is really quiet at night. When we return to Lisbon, and I've no doubt we will, this will be our first choice. Excellent value too !

Lisbon luxury
A small boutique hotel in a central but quiet part of Lisbon. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Our reception late at night after a long day travelling set a very high standard of staff attention - and food- which did not slip during our stay. The complimentary bottle of wine in our room was an unexpected surprise.Staff were consistently pleasant, and all spoke English to a very good standard. Breakfasts were a delight, with a wide choice to suit all tastes. The main menu placed emphasis on sharing of dishes, and though not extensive had more than enough variety for us. As befits its name, we received some very sound advice on the choice of wines to accompany our food. The birthday cake on our last night was an unexpected treat. Although we didn't request it, our bath towels were changed daily, which we thought unnecessary. The toiletries range was good, though it could usefully include a pack or two of tissues. The bill was available promptly and was accurate. All in all a very enjoyable and relaxed stay. We would certainly make a return visit at some future date.

Jimbo birthday treat
Hotel location is great for all the local attractions. All within easy walking distance. The staff are all very friendly and all can speak English. Breakfasts are simple and ample. We were on the first floor and tried to leave the window open during tbe night but there were various noises coming from the street that kept waking us up so had to sleep with the window closed. Had some strange noises coming from the air conditioning vent but the staff could not find out where it was coming from. Would definitely stay here again if we come back Lisbon.

Great find
Well what a find. Just up from Rossi this is a a small hotel with big rooms, a free bottle of wine on arrival, very comfortable bed. Adequately clean with towels changed daily. We had a back room overlooking a small courtyard so was very quiet. Breakfast was good although we were not asked if we wanted a hot breakfast on day 2, however the staff were busy. The only complaint was the cups of tea and coffee were variable quality but heigh ho. Did not ear dinner there.
