Bad Start/First Impression but Turned Out Good
I was initially disappointed with the tone of voice and lack of help when I tried to acquire the access code. To be fair, it was my fault for not providing my photo i.d. but the person that answered the phone seemed irritated and put out and asked if I'd received the check-in email. I had and quickly realized what I had not done; but it would have been better if she had told me what I needed to do instead of condescendingly referring me back to the email. TBH, I've never been spoken to like that by someone in hospitality so I was surprised. This is the first time I've used Hotels.com, and I'm admittedly not very tech savvy so I could have used some help.
Once I got over that hurdle, the stay was good. The house is in a great location and comfortable - adding some type of lounge chair in the room might be a nice touch. The ease of wi-fi access and the shower were excellent as welll as the common areas, kitchen and Keurig.
