Lovely country stay

We had a lovely stay, room was a great size and nice and clean. We ate in the bar in the evening, the food was great with an array of local beers. Our breakfast was included and was a highlight of the stay. Staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We hope to stay again.

The room is basic, small but had character. Rooms could do with updating. Restaurant/pub was lovely with the wood beam ceiling. Food was out of this world the take on the traditional meal with a twist was great. Ive never tried food that good before.

Lovely stay in a clean, comfortable room in the building adjacent to the pub. We had a good breakfast on both days, even the dog received her own sausage! Dogs are made welcome taking our meals in a nice, bright dining area adjacent to the main dining room. The Crown is in a peaceful spot even though it is close to main routes. The lower car park is free from artificial light and we managed to get some lovely photos of the Milky Way, an unexpected bonus!
