Great hotel in Akasaka
I had a great stay at the Hotel Vista Akasaka. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. The hotel is in a great location - easy walking distance to 2 subway stations and surrounded by restaurants. The Honolulu coffee company is close and does great coffee. The room was very comfortable and clean with nice amenities but was very small (as many Japanese hotels are). It was a double room but would not have fit 2 people comfortably. I would definitely stay here again.

Well located hotel in Tokyo
We stayed here on our recent visit to Japan. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable. It is also conveniently located (approx. 5 minutes walk) from two metro stations, which makes it a perfect base from which to explore the city. Also, the streets surrounding it are full of little izakayas and other types of restaurants. The rooms are small, which is especially normal in Tokyo unless you want to spend a fortune, but they did not feel claustrophobic. There is not a great deal of space to store luggage or clothing but the Hotel Vista and every other hotel (5 in total) we stayed at in Japan provided an area for laundry so it's worth packing light and doing laundry. Along those lines, this hotel, as well as the others, provided large refillable (i.e. not single use) bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. This hotel also offers queen sized beds for the especially tall or, in my case, the especially pregnant. Potential con: If you suffer mobility issues, particularly hip or knee problems, you might find getting into and out of the bathtub (which is where the shower is located) a bit problematic as it is very deep.

Perfect comfort and location!
Great location, very clean and tidy rooms and everything you could need with a laundry and other amenities available. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and the buffet breakfast and delicious coffee is a great addition if you have a big day ahead! Will definitely be staying here again.

Exceptional 10.0
Superb hotel in a very central location. Rooms are compact but beautifully designed and very well appointed considering the price point. Excellent value for money if you’re looking for a no frills base to explore Tokyo. Would definitely stay here again.
