The hotel was fine - no real issues with room or the breakfast (other than instant coffee!) The problem here is the staffing and systems in place. I was sent a non vat invoice, I then called several times to try and get a VAT invoice for my employer, usually the phone went to voicemail. On the occasion I did speak to a man he did not get it sorted for me. I spoke to him later in the day and have heard nothing since.

I reported to the front desk that when I returned from being out, I noted my room door was closed but not locked. I always check after I've locked the door, so I know it was locked when I left. He said he would speak to the cleaner about it (who comes in late morning to empty the bin etc). It happened again another day and I reported it again and explained that when you close the door you must pull it tight (and you hear it click) and then lock with the key, otherwise "locking it" with the key does not actually lock it. He said he would look into it. Sadly it happened again another day. This was very disappointing. The front desk man apologised profusely, he was a nice person and very helpful generally. Apart from that issue, it was a pleasant stay and the hotel was in an excellent location, close to everything and right on the seafront. This is not a "modern" shiny spic-and-span hotel - most of the hotels along the promenade look fairly long in years, but it was clean and everything worked and it was quiet (apart from the seagulls doing their early morning rounds!) and so lovely to be directly across the road from the seafront.

The hotel was along the promenade of Llandudno easy walk to main high street, 10 min walk to train station, 10 min walk to Orme tram station the room was comfortable clean and there was tea and coffee making facilities i didnt have a breakfast in the hotel so i cant comment i only saw the staff on the first day to check in on the whole its in a nice location for everything beach, shops, buse and trains, i would stay here again.

Very welcoming. All the staff were top class Single room clean, quiet and comfortable for a good night’s sleep. £10 choice of several enticing breakfasts. Only six minutes walk along the front to the theatre. Parking on street is charged from 10am-4pm, wasn’t a problem for me. I’ll stay here again on my next visit.
