Fabulous 2 night stay
2nd staying here in 6 months and again another fabulous 2 night stay. Room comfy and clean, breakfast cooked to order and was fab. Nothing is too much trouble for Donna, amazing host. This is now our go to stayfor visiting friends in Hawick. Right on the high street too

The best Bank in Hawick!
After following the excellent map to find the car park, we were greeted warmly by Donna. She had sent us emails before our arrival which were very welcome and unusual, in as much as our previous hotel sent nothing! The room at the top of the many stairs was large, comfortable and the bed was comfy, warm and large! The breakfast was good, plentiful and served hot , along with the great music which we chose from the authentic juke box!

The Bank Guest House
Best place to stay In Hawick. Very central with easy access to the Main Street. I stayed in a new apartment/flat which was beautifully done out. Had everything I needed and more. First class.

Good 6.0
A night to remember.
The room was well decorated and furnished, but we did wonder about the ear plugs beside the bed. We found out at 1 o'clock in the morning, when the whole high street turned into a street party, which went on for several hours. Very small shower in a big bathroom, which was quite strange, and the pillows were very uncomfortable - my husband and I both still have sore necks! Donna was an attentive host, but there was a mix-up over breakfast, and we nearly had to sit at separate tables. I would imagine that during the week, when it is quiet, this is a very pleasant place to stay, the building is amazing and the breakfast was very good.

Lovely guesthouse
It was a lovely guesthouse and the owner was very friendly. The room was a great size and was perfect for a family of 4. Our room was at the front so we could hear people leaving the pub etc but we still got to sleep easily . The bed was comfy but I prefer firm pillows . It was a lovely touch that biscuits and crisps were in the room and just outside there was cans in a mini fridge that you could purchase. The breakfast was lovely . It is in a great location and hawick is a lovely town. We parked the car in the car park behind which was handy and good that it was off the main high street . You must go grass sledging at born in the borders which is about 10/15 mins drive away. They have outdoor roller skating too. Would recommend this guesthouse and will stay again next time we visit our friends in hawick
