Great value, very dog friendly
We stayed for 2 nights with a dog and when they say they are dog friendly they really are! Nice big garden area, and very welcome in pub - we were most impressed that the dog friendly part of the pub was the main part, rather than being shut away in a back room as often happens. Really friendly staff and great food. Its a shame breakfast wasnt being offered at the time of our stay but we managed!! All in all a lovely stay, beautiful area and we'll definitely be back!

Nobody available for late check-in. Locked out!
The OYO Hotels purport to on offer 24/7 checkin. Well, this is not true (at least not at Baginton Coventry) - evidently they prefer their guests outside...looking for clues. I arrived 11:35pm, no one to be seen anywhere doors locked. I banged on the ALL doors, pressed the Door Bell repeatedly - no reply. The Telephone support numbers lead to a repeating cycle of options, impossible to speak to an advisor. By shear luck the security door to the bedroom annex had not latched! Found an open room door and I got in (felt like burglar). But the story is not over, at 8:30am, presumably a cleaner, proceeded to march up and down the corridors with a cart/trolley - with what sounded like square wheels - impressively loud actually. Had a few helpings of that ca-chang crash rattle THEN, a lawnmower decided to compete right outside my window...persistently. I think the noise award was given to the square wheeled trolley. Round of applause everyone.

Very welcoming, and friendly. Room was clean and tidy just what was required. Dinner was very good but we did have to wait an hour and a half. Just an anomaly for that night. We would book to go back again.

Great pet friendly accomodation, staff were so busy that the checking in took a while , not good after bad long tiring journeys. Clean, comfortable with coffees, hot chocolate, lovely bathroom goodies but sadly woken at 12.30 am by inconsiderate people using the same doors in etc.,heating was not on so had to work out how that worked, various odd heating noises at odd times , or from the floor above? Not a restful nights sleep.

genuinely dog friendly
Genuinely welcoming of dogs. Restaurant slept into dog friendly and no dogs with a roaring fire that was most welcome as it was cold and windy outside. Good wine and food and friendly staff and other patrons very welcoming as well.
