very friendly stuff but very noisy hotel. My room was next to the reception. There were people shouting until very late (1-2am) and it was so loud as if they were in the same room

Great location, helpful staff, comfortable stay
Rooms are very basic but ours had the addition of a balcony which was nice. The room was smaller than it appeared on the photos but it did us fine for our stay. The hotel is not cheap and I think the hotel could make a few changes to make the room nicer, perhaps even include a safe in the room. The day staff were lovely and were happy to provide us with extra pillows and an iron when requested. The shower at first looked very dark as theres no light in the cubicle itself, however the shower was powerful, hot and very pleasant.

We were checked in by Marianna who was very friendly and helpful, gave us some amazing personal recommendations and advice about what to pay to see, all of which we followed. Room was very clean and had more than enough space for 2. It was very noisy however as we overlooked an internal terrace. Our hot water did not work from the second night but staff were very helpful in providing us with a key to another room to use the facilities there and also refunded 15% per night as a good gesture will. Excellent location for exploring Barcelona, we walked most places but there is a subway station meters away. Also very easy to find off the airport bus.

Lovely place to explore the city
This is a lovely place to stay at in Barcelona to explore the city. It's located centrally, very convenient to get from and to the airport on the Areobus and to catch the metro to sights. It's about 15 min walking to Placa Espaniya. There's a bakery accross from it to get your morning coffee and breakfast. All the staff we met were extremely helpful and polite. We arrived later in the evening and the only room available was one on the first floor facing the main street. Unfortunately it seems the isolation is not so good so it was very noisy at night. They managed to get us another room for the rest of the stay which was also facing the main street but on a further floor up. This time together with some earplugs I managed to get some sleep :) Unless you possess the superpower that my partner has to fall asleep anywhere and with any loud noise, I'd recommond you ask for a room that is not facing the main street if possible. Alternatively, if the hotel can improve the windows in those rooms that could also be helpful. I recommend the hotel and would stay here again.
