The hotel is ideally placed just 2 minutes walk (if that) from the Albert Bridge over the River Thames and a bus route into Victoria. The hotel itself is more of a B&B than a Hotel but I found my single room with shared facilities clean and the bed was very comfortable. The free Wi-Fi was good and the cooked breakfast was very tasty served by very pleasant staff. As a B&B in Chelsea it was terrific value for money but if you like spending time in your hotel or require assisted access then maybe The Oakley is not for you.

Basic but good place to rest after sight seeing,
This is a cheap place to stay for the area, it is very out dated but bed is clean and is fine for sleeping, breakfast is very basic but an ok start to the day. The girls running are friendly.

This one was worth it!
I travelled and stayed at Oakley Hotel with two other ladies and we honestly had a great overall experience with this accommodation. Their description of the place is very accurate on the booking posting so I didn't have any surprises when I got there. The management also stayed in communication with me a few days prior my stay, which I appreciated and made me feel welcomed already. My friend and I had a delay in flight and were gonna miss our check-in, but my sister who were on a separate flight and arrived on time was accommodated in the hotel even though it was my name that was on the reservation. Such an ease in check in, quiet and peaceful place, and breakfast was also great! This was our first time in London, and our Oakley Hotel stay definitely added to our memorable experience! Thank you!

I was very charmed by this hotel. The woman I interacted with during my stay (I believe her name is Naomi? I am ashamed to admit I didn’t verify when I arrived) she was very friendly, even sending me a message before I left the country with advice on how to get to the hotel, and she made me breakfast each day. It was perfect for me as a solo traveler and the location and price couldn’t be beat. The only reason I didn’t give it a higher score was because it was because I had to share a bathroom and shower with others on my floor, which was unexpected. It might have been mentioned on the website, and perhaps I just assumed a bathroom would be in the room. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this hotel for solo travelers, and will definitely stay there again the next time I am in London.
