Well, the place that you booked us into was effectively closed for the day. No bar, no restaurant, virtually no staff. We were told when we arrived that Tuesdays as an off-day for the hotel. Then, why were we allowed to book there?

The Inn was overlooking a wonderful expanse of water with great views. The recently updated room we stayed in was perfect. The sloped ceiling would have been tricky if you were tall but worked fine for us. The bathroom was beautiful and sparkling clean. It's a great getaway from the City where you can just relax and enjoy some quiet time.

We have experienced the unique dinning experience before but never an overnight stay. We were absolutely surprised by the well appointed service by the front desk. Courteous, polite and at our service. 5 star in our opinion.

Property was beautiful, service was excellent, our room was very clean and when we needed anything they were very accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay. The food was delicious and the beds were very comfy. Great view as well. We were a little surprised to find the reception closed at 10pm when we called down with questions about the TV and wifi. We were very happy when they called us the next day to say they had found some medication we had inadvertently left in the room.

No help with luggage, no breakfast Saturday until 9am, farm door on bathroom noisy, bathroom shampoo and liquid soap dispensers were bulk plunger style which would allow for contamination by previous guests, top stair on 2nd floor not safe, food was good, wait staff were young people and were very nice but a bit inexperienced, not to many options to stay overnight in Hudson.

A lovely inn with beautiful view over the water, close to downtown Hudson. A relaxing place with a wonderful kitchen. Highly recommended.
