Great hotel
A fantastic hotel with spacious rooms and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom had a powerful shower. Staff were very helpful and the decor was lovely. We had a very relaxing stay.

Enjoyable stay
Hotel staff very friendly and extremely helpful when an error due to meant our stay had not been booked in and they had no availability for us on the first night. The manager went out of his way to get us alternative accommodation that night. Lovely room, hearty breakfast, and extra bonus of swimming pool. We didn't have an evening meal but the menu looked good. Good base for exploring Dundee area.

Great hotel and location in Broughty Ferry
I really enjoyed my stay at The Hotel Broughty Ferry. I was staying for 2 nights on business and decided to try Broughty Ferry rather than my usual Dundee hotel. The Hotel Broughty Ferry is conveniently located on the main road between Dundee and Broughty Ferry so getting to and from the two is easy either by taxi, bus or train. The hotel itself is of a high quality, it's a very relaxed and homely-feeling hotel with a late opening bar, excellent food and the rooms are big enough for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and practical and all the amenities I would have expected were there (with the exception of a mini-fridge). The broadband was free and of a high speed and I was able to use this easily to do some work in the evenings. As well as this the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in the area, and I'd certainly recommend Broughty Ferry in general as a nice place to spend time.

The Hotel
This is, for the money, the best value hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The location, facilities, rooms are all excellent. But what stood out for me was the amazing food and the friendly service. There is only one place I’m ever going to look for when I’m in the Dundee area, The Hotel, Broughty Ferry.

Would stay again
Friendly staff, great breakfast, good location, comfy bed, nice size room, down side = noise from main road, torn curtains (net). plain glass in bathroom, Jacuzzi bath did not work, door stiff to lock / unlock

A True Find
My in-laws stay here every time they visit family. This was my first trip and I would stay here again. Rate is very reasonable and room is quite large for a European hotel. Breakfast was amazing-(made to order) and owners were extremely friendly. LOVE the area-Walking distance to cute shops, Castle, and coast. Will definitely stay here again when I return.

Good 6.0
It's a bit dated, and rooms are somewhat cramped. Parking is also tight. Broughty Ferry itself is pleasant and it's easy to walk into the town and to the estuary.

Good for a one nighter
Two seniors on a road trip from California spent one night at The Hotel Broughty Ferry in Dundee, UK. The hotel is a bit outside the city and does have a parking lot. Our room (#2) was on the first floor so I do not know if there is a lift. We were also on the street but did not hear traffic from about 9pm to 7am. Room not big but it was fine for one night. Our rate included breakfast: cold foods minimal, hot cooked to order. For lunch or dinner, food is available in both the dining room and the more casual bar – we had dinner in the dining room and it was good; there are not a lot of places in the area. The wi-fi worked for an IPhone and a PC but not for a Kindle. It was a nice place but we found the staff a little solemn.
