The Art Studio

We loved staying at The Art Studio! The location was within easy walking distance of central Bath and the train station. The apartment had everything--kitchen (including microwave which none of our other places had), hair dryer, tv, iron and ironing board, large shower with rain-head. It was on a quiet street. Emma was an outstanding host. The room was stocked with information about the area and decorated with her lovely art. She always responded to our questions very quickly. She even brought by cupcakes made by her daughter! I have never had better service or been more delighted with our accommodations. It was definitely our favorite place to stay during our 2 weeks in England.

Great location-we walked from the train station to the flat in about 15 min and the center of Bath is an easy ten min walk as well. The flat is cozy, bed and linens great. Kitchen big and easy to have breakfast there. A hob is available for cooking eggs and small meals. Bathroom great -super shower. Everything modern and tasteful. Ana met us and explained keys and how things worked. Very friendly. We met the owner as well- they live in the house above the basement flat. The flat has plenty of natural light and doesn't feel like a basement. Be sure to have them show you how the outside door handles work-différent from the US. Also , there are on /off switches on all electric outlets- great way to save on energy. It a little confusing if you've never seen them. The flat was stocked with milk, coffee, tea, and fruit. Very very nice. We'll stay there on our next trip to Bath.
