Staff very helpful, particularly since the room had not been 'made-up' when I arrived and the Manager had to step in to give it a deep clean and bedding change as housekeeping had failed to do so.

I had a double room with unsuited bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the hot water reliable, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. I won't mention the joy of dragging my luggage up 6 flights of stairs 😆, but lack of a lift is to be expected at moderate-priced London hotels. Location was great, right next door to Borough tube station, and a short walk to Borough Market, the Globe Theater, and Tate Modern. Would stay again.
