Quiet, clean & very good value
Quiet, family run guesthouse in a handy position in Arusha. Staff are kind and helpful (especially the new receptionist!) I slept very well and if you like they can cook you a meal to save you going out. Asante Sana!

My room was a little small, but it was very clean and they offer a daily cleaning service if you want it. Mosquito net, hot water, good security, standard breakfast included, and friendly, helpful staff! Look no further if you need a solid budget option in Arusha!

Perfect but small, low-cost safari base.
Raha Leo is the perfect location for short stays before and after a safari. It’s well located within Arusha. The rooms are small but clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast consists of fruit, coffee/tea and eggs of your choice. In summary the stay is good value at just over $20 per night (at the time of staying). I would definitely stay here again when in Arusha.

The room was clean. Be cautious that the room does not have an AC and the window will let in mosquitoes. However, we were here for one night and it was good for the price. Breakfast was a very small portion but not bad. The staff could have been more friendly and helpful.

The owner was excellent and helped me out of a pickle as my driver didn't come on time to pick me up for my climb to Killimanjaro. He phoned the hotel multiple times to arrange for them to come over.
