It was basic but comfortable

The upstairs loft rooms are great although security by the way of the door locks could be improved. A chain loop on the inside and make the door lock auto lock so you only need the key to enter but not required to lock as this caught me out once. So handle to open from the inside to leave but no key required to lock up. Other than that it was a good stay. :)

We initially were in an upstairs room but the TV was not working so the manager moved us to another room which was lovely although a bit dated with the shower over the bath which I found a bit slippery. This is a very busy town so it was awesome to stay a night and have some yummy German food 😋

A charming motel and surprisingly warm given how chilly the weather was and, as the property is old, some of the windows did not quite close properly. Staying at the Hahndorf Old Mill Motel set the scene for a captivating town with so many shops and experiences to enjoy.

There was no clean dishcloth for washing the dishes before we used them and the tea towel didn’t dry. Otherwise the room meet our needs, with comfortable beds and great parking.

Parking good, friendly staff. Antique old rooms, quite dusty, narrow steep steps . Bathroom was clean and had good shower. Great location to the street.

3rd stay at the Old Mill. Whilst it's sad to see so many areas "offline" and either waiting renovation or refurbishment, the staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful. Great position, we will be back again :-) PS - Bring back the live music & DJ's on Fridays & Saturdays.
