6/10 Good

Y’all it’s hot! We turned the air down as soon as our feet hit the sticky floor around 9:30. We thought it would cool down and dry out by the time we got in our jammies. It never did. The wall thermostat said 71. It was the hottest, most humid 71 I’ve ever felt, and I’m a Louisiana girl. We tried turning the thermostat down and it never changed. We had the wall unit on 65 and the fan on high. A handheld fan would have done more! I woke up in the middle of the night sweating like a pig at luau. I guess they knew I’d need to relax after all that because when I washed my hands in the backed up bathroom sink, I instantly created a mini bubble bath. The people were nice, coffee was hot, and breakfast was alright. Bless their hearts!
