This was the best place I stayed at in years. I’ll definitely be back! Clean, private, inexpensive, relaxing and run by an amazingly sweet couple who respect your privacy or are willing to help or converse on drop of a dime. This a wonderful place to stay!

A great place to stay if you don't expect to be right on the beach. Very quiet, and the owner's are very sweet.

The property is gorgeous. The photos don't do it justice. The grounds are beautifully manicured and tranquil.

So nice and felt like home. Ray & Patti were very nice and attentive, asking if we needed anything every time we saw them . This trailer was so much better than staying in a hotel! We enjoyed our coffee on the screened in porch and made breakfast for ourselves before going out for the day. We plan to return next time we visit our family in Foley. Thank you so much!

Very clean, good fast internet, a great stay in very relaxing environment. Cold ac, hot water in shower. Only concern the bedroom area has low ceilings which could be problem for taller person, no problem for me at 5’6”, but could be for 6’ or more.

Beautiful property and enjoyed my stay. My trip was more business-like than vacation, so I wasn't able to fully enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Recommended1

Great People with a Beautiful Camping Hideaway!!!!!
Ray and Patti have a beautiful place just a few minutes from most attractions in the area. Their place is cozy, clean, comfortable, and private; and a person couldn't ask for better hosts. Ray and Patti are delightful to visit with and they work to ensure that all of their guests' needs are met. Our only regret was that we couldn't visit longer with them during our stay. This is a wonderful couple with just a neat place to stay if your looking for something a little different, but with all the comforts of home.

Not worth what I paid
The owners are very kind people and the front deck and screened porch are nice. However I can’t recommend this property for the following reasons: There’s very little sense of privacy due to the proximity to the main house and the fact that the front windows aren’t covered. There’s no door to the bedroom so you can lie in the bed and look straight out the front of the RV to the back/side of their house. This means stepping out of the little bathroom after a shower gives you nowhere to go to dry off and dress without feeling exposed. You may as well get dressed in the living room. I’m sure the front windows were tinted or something but it was uncomfortable. Something in the RV set my allergies into overdrive. Every time I left or stepped outside it improved quickly, but started again as soon as I went back in. I suspect the old carpet in the bedroom because it seemed worse back there. Roaches. There were a few of those big ones that come in when you’re in the woods. No big deal. But I flipped when I opened the little mini fridge and there was a smaller roach inside the fridge. INSIDE of the fridge. This was the last straw for me and I packed up and left two days early.

Short on privacy
There is a large window that looks directly through the camper into the bed. Since there is no door on the sleeping quarters, I had to put several cushions in front of the window at night to have privacy. At least one other guest has complained about this, and it would be an easy fix to add window coverings. But Ray and Patti evidently don't think it should be a problem. And they don't really care if you as a single woman are uncomfortable. I had ants in my food. The camper is located so you have little privacy from the hosts. That obviously delights some people (from the reviews), but not me. When I told Ray I was leaving because of the window and the ants, he offered to refund me, but he didn't. No responses to my messages.
