Breakfast was great and the staff very pleasant. The decor was tasteful and co-ordinatef
We had a fantastic stay at The Artist. The hotel is located in the centre of Athens, which gave us the opportunity to walk to the major attractions. The hotel is really contemporary and well looked after. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the breakfast offered is diverse and really good. We highly recommend it.
Excellent staff and hotel.
Stayed here for 1 night and it was in a great location walking distance from many attractions. Although we arrive more then an hour past check in, our room was not ready and was repeated told it was being ‘freshened up’. That term probably shouldn’t have been used as it sounds like the room was not properly cleaned to begin with. When we were shown to the room, we found lots of hair scattered on the floor. We let reception know and apparently someone was sent to check it while we were out but when we returned it was still there. As we settled for bed and pulled back the sheets, more hair was discovered in the sheets. This hotel would have been perfect if it weren’t for the poor housekeeping. It is stylish, modern and well decorated. They offer great breakfast that is made to order and the staff are friendly and helpful. Unsure if I would stay again.
beautiful hotel and modern rooms with a very nice breakfast, close to shopping, metro, sightseen, food, excellent location, very nice staff, we were on our honeymoon and stay in this hotel, and we could not ask for a better hotel than this one we 100% recommend this place for everyone.
The hotel is located in the center of town, very close to many restaurants. The hotel is very modern and urban. The rooms aren't big but cozy and comfortable. The breakfast is good and there is a restaurant bar on the roof with a view of the city. The staff is really really nice. The receptionists assisted us with few issuses and were very helpful. The only cons are the parking and the neighberhood. The parking infront of the hotel: the guy there said that he wont let us the car for overnight. We found a big parking for free 3 min walk from the hotel. The neighberhood is really crowded and a bit scary at night but this is the same in all the hotels in the center of town. Definitely a great hotel in Athens. I really recommend staying there.
Everything was excellent!!
The room is very clean, Spacious, big enough & updated. The bad thing is the area is not good at all. At night scary & on the day i checked in there was a crime in the area due to problems between mafias, so this left bad impression. If this hotel was moved to another area in Athens would definitely stayed again as it's very clean, great service and employees are very nice.
Boutique hotel with very friendly staff, clean with great location!
The hotel has a rooftop bar located on the top floor. When the music is on you can hear it on all floors. So there was a party going on and loud music was playing. I called the reception at 00:00 kindly asking to put the volume down. The answer I received was that one of the owners had a party and they asked me if I could bear the music until 01:00. I did say ok. At 1:00 am I called again since the loud music and the party was still going on. They promised to turn the volume down but nothing happened. At 1:30 I had to go down to the reception and ask for the manager in order to complain. After my complaint, the music eventually stopped at 01:45. This indicates that the management clearly shows no respect for their clients. Since it is a small hotel with poor soundproofing loud music should not be permitted especially after 23:30. Since I was on a business trip I haven t had the chance to rest at all because of the loud music and that was pretty sad bearing in mind that it is a cozy hotel. I hope the management will start treating their clients with more respect. On a positive note, the hotel is clean, and the location is convenient. about 10 mins walk from Monastiraki metro. Probably I will not be recommending this hotel bearing in mind that there are lots of other decent hotels around the area of Monastiraki some of which are value for money indeed.
