Fabulous 8.6 From 82 reviews

Good 6.0
The modern design at first glance is pleasing and fresh. But fashon and style make the user experience difficult and uncomfortable. Light switches that dont work and/or in odd locations, the bathroom door that is extremely heavy to slide slide open or closed that the handle was breaking off and a bath/shower combo that leaves the bathroom floor covered in water when used as designed We stayed in a suite that had the bed on an open loft. Okay no probelm. But to have coffee in the morning you go down the steps to where the coffee is, but there is no sink or wet bar downstairs, you go back upstairs to fill the elecric kettle and/or to rinse and clean the french press for another cup. On a similar note, the hair dryer is not upstairs in the bathroom. It is downstairs and there's a sign in the bathroom that the only outlet in the bathroom is for an electric shaver, not a hairdryer. However, the location is fabulous and the staff friendly and very helpful! The location is just a block off the Shoreditch High Station and Block Park and just a few minutes walk to Brick Lane. Very convenient!

Very good 8.0
Cool room, interesting location, tiny busy lobby
The hotel room was nice, very unique! We heard some street noise but it stopped after the restaurant next door closed. The lobby of this hotel is very tiny. They have customers trying to go up to the rooftop restaurant as well as people checking into hotel in this tiny lobby. The hotel staff isn’t managing this very well, a small group came in to go to rooftop when my husband and I were trying to check in (it was about 8pm, we had a long day), and we were a little put off by the process. We had to wait for the guy to talk to thins other group instead of finishing our checkin. We were exhausted and felt really uncomfortable and it didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel check in experience. The rest of our stay was fine. Huge room with nice amenities. Cute bakery/cafe downstairs.

Exceptional 10.0
I don't want to stay anywhere else ever again! :-)
Everything about my stay at Boundary was perfect. From the greeting at reception, to the lovely ambiance and feel of the space. My room was superb, beautiful sheets, amazing bathroom and toiletries and a well stocked mini bar. Oh, and decent coffee! No sachets (TGFT). The street was a wee bit noisy but it is Shoreditch and the ear plugs and eye masks provided did the job. I definitely had a good nights sleep. I also ordered room service which was delivered promptly and standard of the food was superb and incredibly well priced. I resented leaving in the morning as I could have easily spent the entire day there.

Poor 2.0
Bad Staff, Very Noisy, Beautiful Room
Lovely hotel rooms - awful staff! Do not go here for the roof terrace - we were told it was too busy and we couldn't go up on our stay!! DO NOT ever stay here on a weekend, it is so noisy you will not get to sleep all night. On arrival the member of staff behind the desk was super rude, ignored us at first, didn't want to serve us (as apparently not her job to check in) then disappeared behind a curtain to look at herself in a mirror whilst waiting for someone else to help! It's a real shame, because we love Conran and the room was amazing. Really disappointed.

Very good 8.0
The rooms are great, but don't expect a lot of service from the staff. It isn't set up like a 5 star hotel, there's a small reception and no lobby pre-se. Unless you want to hang out in either of the two restaurants you will be spending time in your room. Housekeeping weren't very diligent and no-one checks if all the light bulbs work in the rooms. (and if anyone can explain how the light switches relate to the lights in London hotel rooms I think you win a Nobel prize). WiFi was completely non-functional in my room, I guess they never bothered to actually test service in the rooms themselves.
