Advertised as a 5 star resort, the hotel is anything but. For sure very comfortable and the staff were competent and after a while friendly enough but this is not a 5 star establishment. No amenities. No dining option. No room safe. No robe. The tiny bars of soap I last saw in a Motel 6 on a no name US highway. All little things but together add up to definitely not 5 star. This said we had a nice and comfortable stay and the location was fantastic. With a bit more effort they could reach 5 star level but that requires more investment that I fully understand that the owners may not want to commit. Even though I have said what I have said, I would stay there again next time in Eastbourne.

Lovely room and views, but lacking attention to detail in places. Wouldn’t suggest this is a 5* hotel, personally. The staff however were all exceptional.

Awesome. Ishtar in room 102 Bed was amazing Only criticisms was the lamp shade is glsss and chunks a lot as people upstairs move about. Needs a hand rail on the jacuzzi bath

Lovely junior suite.
We stayed in the junior suite for 2 nights. Lovely room with a jacuzzi bath. We were offered complimentary drinks due to the room not being ready at 3. Housekeeping ran out of time to visit us on the 2nd day which was a shame. Lovely views and location.
