Poor
Never again
Absolutely awful. Noisy guests on my 2 nights so barely got any sleep which affected my experience of why I visited. Room looked very worn down, walls paper thin, kept thinking someone was coming through the ceiling. Wee on toilet seat. Grubby carpet. Coffee on cup and spoon. Didn't even use shower. Most of all just the other guests which were workmen. Noisy in the evening all of them woke me up at 5.30 each morning shouting, slamming doors. Just did not care. Will never stay again. Oh and paid £10 for a lasagne ready meal. Really got upset the first night as I had travelled a long way.

Very good
Brief stop over in Birmingham
The people at The Bull were very friendly. Whilst it looks a bit dated, it very clean and comfortable and the pub is a proper traditional one with a good selection of beers and drinks, also it has an interesting history. The location is not too bad in terms of closeness to New Street, the City Centre, Snow Hill and The Jewellery Quarter. The Bull is fantastic value for money and I would stay again.

Good
Very 'quaint' but in need of refurbishment
The two ladies who run The Bull were absolutely lovely and very welcoming. However the room was very small and in need of redecoration and a good clean. Mouldy shower tiles, not very clean toilet, not even a bedside lamp ! We stayed on a Saturday night and was told very quickly that the pub would be shutting at around 7.30pm so we would be left in the building alone ! And, as the pub did not open at all on Sunday we would not have the option of breakfast in the morning (in their advert they do offer breakfast at an extra charge). If you just want a bed for the night and you're not fussy then go for it, but if you want your money's worth then perhaps look elsewhere.
