Really friendly staff who helped out looking after bags when I arrived early and so I could go out and collect later. Room was decent size and clean. Transport links very close (bus 2 to Valletta within 1 minute walk) and ferry 5 minutes walk. Highly recommend this hotel for any Malta trips

Cool place
Cool place in terms of location and temperature. Room (502) was large and had a sumptuous bed. Breakfast is ordered in advance and delivered to the room in the morning. The hotel is just a short walk from the water taxis and there’s a small convenience store right outside.

Would recommend it to anyone for a short stay.
Just an overnite stay on our way to Gozo. Excellent room with all the comforts one would need. The receptionist also gave excellent service. Would have liked to stay an extra few days.

What a superb little hotel, amazing room, service and location. Owner was lovely and welcoming and the breakfast room service was great. Would highly recommend and would definitely return. The ONLY thing that was a little annoying was the constant ringing of the church bells next door!! But not enough to stop us returning!

For me as a single female traveller, Birgu was the ideal place to stay for a first visit as it has a lot of character, having retained all its original features. Local prices are reasonable and servings generous. The other cities are within easy reach, Valetta the Capital being just across the water, if you're looking for more activity. The hotel is stylish with impressive original stonework in the reception area. It is situated down a quiet side street and just a few minutes walk from the harbour. The room I occupied was a very reasonable size however the balcony was just about wide enough to house a chair so not much of an outdoor space at all. Thankfully there is a lift to each floor as well as a stylish glass spiral staircase. The bathroom was well equipped but could do with another shelf as there was nowhere to put toiletries. The towel rack is placed too high, I had to really stretch to reach the rolled up towel on top (I am 5ft 4in). The robe and slippers was a nice touch. Due to restrictions at the time, the buffet - type breakfast was served in the bedrooms. There was no hot food available but I found the selection reasonable. We also had a choice of time slots up to 10:30 which suited those of us who preferred to eat later. Staff and management was very friendly, polite and accommodating at all times. Special thanks and appreciation to Sri who brought my breakfast every morning, cleaned my room when needed and helped to make my stay a pleasant one.

Nice hotel but too expensive
It's a nice little hotel in a great Birgu location and the staff member was very friendly and accomodating. However, we did feel it was very overpriced compared to other better hotels we have stayed in on Malta. The room we booked was listed as a juniour suite but it definitely wasn't a juniour suite and was just an ok sized room. Overall good, but more attention to detail needed for the price charged.
