Hidden gem
This hotel is fantastic, reflected in how far in advance you need to book in order to secure a room! The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean, modern & light and have all the amenities you could possibly need. The hotel is conveniently located close to Farringdon station, so it's easy to access all areas of London & a very short trip back to King's Cross to get home. The only slight disappointment with this hotel is that you can often be waiting at the bar a while for someone to acknowledge you when you want to check in. The pub itself is often very busy so I understand this, but it might be better to make it clearer about where to go in order to check in. The staff who check you in, show you to your room & help check you out are brilliant though. They're attentive, friendly & welcoming and I'm sure that's why this gorgeous hotel is so popular.

A gem of a place!
An absolute gem of a place! Beautiful clean room, very quiet too. The actual pub underneath is lovely and the food is fabulous! Highly recommend.

Quiet city centre break
Great choice for quiet weekend in London. Good food and beer, in the business district so (relatively) quiet at night, off main roads. Don't expect super late service or buzzing nightlife.

Great place to stay,
Lovely place, swish rooms, pleasant staff, definitely would go back. Only negative was the shower drain being blocked in the wet room so it got flooded but no big deal. Great value for money considering the location

Beautiful and boutique
After the confusing search for a hotel reception (there isn’t one, just go to the bar) I was pleasantly surprised to find the room just as delightful as the photos. A super comfortable bed, tastefully decorated and with lovely organic toiletries. The bar staff were all very attentive and nice, the area is second to none for great restaurants and bars and we had a peaceful nights sleep. The cooked breakfast was a little too much the next day (fried eggs slightly undercooked, really meaty sausage, not much seasoning) so would recommend sticking to the lighter options, but this could be down to personal taste. Again, fantastic breakfast service and great juice and coffee. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
