A warm welcome awaits you here at The Crown. We have a great dedicated team who offer a warm friendly welcome. We are located just ten minutes drive from both Bath & Bristol - a great get away or business stay.

We offer great value rooms with a guarantee to be the cheapest in the area, if you find cheaper for the same room type then just let us know and we will match it.

Our rooms are newly decorated all with large beds, tea & coffee making, still water, towels and large tv's with build in DVD players. We have four en-suite rooms all with en-suites with views over the rugby grounds and two budget rooms with no secondary glazing and a renovated shared bathroom, the budget rooms come with robes, hand wash sinks and slippers.

Convenient for touring the Bath, Bristol area.
The staff were very friendly and courteous, and it was fine for our 1 night stay. They are very dog friendly, which was our main reason for choosing this accommodation.

Huge potential but lot's of little things... 1) No Soap, Shampoo in bathroom (just water in the shower soap dispenser!) 2) Tea tray, cups dirty and used water bottle left in room 3) Showerhead holder does not stay in position 4) Ventilation not easily possible as window won't stay open 5) TV unable to receive basic channels (BBC 1) Friendly staff though

The hotel shuts at 10pm there is no breakfast until 9am i was at work for 8am bsgs of washing in the hallway to your rooms dismal in reception area really dark car parking is across the road in the rugby club or you may get a vehicle on the pup carpark but there is a camper van and a van and a car allways there

Overnight syay
Not much of a check in area, I had to walk through a bar with dogs in there growling at me, I was given no info on where the toilets or shower room was situated. I had to search in a dark corridor to find them . No signs on doors.on my return to the hotel/ pub at 11 .45 my key fob did not work. There was nobody on the premises to let me in despite me banging on the door and phoning the place for 3/4 hour.the Facebook page was showing an unrecognised number. I eventually found a number off directory’s.a man answered and let me in dressed in pyjamas and said he hadn’t heard anything because he was watching tv.he changed my keycard and walked off.in the morning9am nobody to be found and a notice saying food served at 12-2.so no option for breakfast.In all a good day in Bristol but a disappointing stay at the crown.
