Brilliant customer service
I cannot recommend this place enough - apart from being uber-hipster and cool, it boasts the best customer service I've ever seen. They even drove out to meet me at the airport after I'd checked out without my jacket! Bloody lovely people, and a super cool place.

Great stay
I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of November. Newly opened I based my decision on previous business at The Hoxton London. The staff were great and they couldn't do enough to ensure I had great stay. The room was a little small - but just right for one person. If there were two and if the stay was more than a night I would be worried about where to store stuff. The cleaners skipped over my room two days in a row which wasn't great for clean towels or having the bed made and while I wouldn't let those things bother me normally, at £95 a night, I expect the bed to be made at least. Location is fantastic - you can't fault it. Right in the middle of everything and is so easy to get to the airport, downtown, Pearl District and also car hire is very close by. With lots of bars nearby and restaurants, the room was really quite too.

Fair 4.0
Not a good choice for a Portland stay
Staff is cheerful and helpful when asked questions. Building is well-appointed and well-kept. Outside noise - mostly music continues to 2am and makes sleeping difficult. The free breakfast is very disappointing - unripe plums, same granola bar each morning, and orange juice in a carton difficult to open. Carton had a straw hole but no straw provided. No napkins provided in breakfast bag either. Lobby is very nice with some comfortable chairs but often piped in music too loud to sit. Area is in the Pearl District. Homeless encampments line the street in all directions from the hotel. I would not feel comfortable coming and going from hotel at night if I had been alone. Unfortunately, one of the touted restaurants was closed for remodel and the rooftop bar was noisy with limited food selection.
