Honestly this hotel is EXCEPTIONAL. From the moment we arrived at the airport to our departure we were very well taken care by all Samann Grand staff. They truly do value their guests. We had an early morning departure so we wouldn’t make the included breakfast. The staff prepared a lovely take away breakfast for us which we’ve never experienced before. The hotel room was well appointed and there is a lovely roof top restaurant with amazing quality food and prices. Overall I give this place a solid 5 stars. If travelling to the Maldives this hotel is the perfect stop over. AND unbelievable value for the level of service we received.

All the staff are incredibly kind and courteous. Airport transit was flawless, and very easy. Stayed in the Samaan Suite. Bed was comfortable. Had room service every night, so the food is definitely reliable, they also ask about dietary restrictions at check in, and were happy to make dishes according to our needs. I researched every hotel on the main island for an airport transit and Samaan Grand is your best option if you’re looking for a luxurious stay to compliment your next island destination.
