What I expect from Japan on a Budget
I noticed a lot of people complaining about how small the rooms were. This hotel was my last stop on my trip this year and frankly the size was nothing out of the ordinary. At this point I was used to small rooms, and this room accommodated my friend and I just fine. Know that if you are booking hotels in Japan on a budget, your rooms will be small. Granted, they will be very clean also. Every room I stayed at in Japan including this one was well kept. Also, the location is perfect! So much food and shopping and sights around Asakusa! As for the bed, it was a rock hard slab, but I personally like extra firm beds. If you don't, then this might not be the best stay for you.

Great hotel, awful bed
The hotel is in a great location and is super clean and the staff is very friendly. The room is small, but that is fine for what I needed. I actually loved the efficient, but lovely bathroom. My major complaint is the hotel bed. I woke up in pain every night due to how stiff and uncomfortable the bed is. I wish there was additional padding to make the bed a bit more comfortable, I had to sleep on my pillows and comforter in order to get any sleep at night at all.

Sweet Boutique Hotel Great Location but...
Stayed here with visiting relatives. Beautifully decorated boutique hotel. Friendly staff, great location. Minus points for the tiny (yet modern) bathrooms and the rock hard beds. I would gladly stay there again but the bed was so hard it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. Japanese people prefer firmer mattresses than other nationalities but this??? The hardest bed I’ve slept on in Japan and I’ve lived here almost twenty years. It’s a true shame.
