There is no temperature control in the room except for radiators this means that it gets hot in the day during summer and then just a bit too cold at night. This could be controlled I guess by switching on the radiators on a thermostat but I did not see one in the room. Excellent hotel- they just get everything right, even dealing with problems. At one point we were miscommunicated breakfast time but the staff were so fantastic at dealing with the problem by ensuring that we were looked after that it not only wasn’t a problem - it was turned into a big positive. They take customer service very seriously. Excellent experience all round - other hotels could learn a lot. Great food. Lovely location. And very quiet l. All round well done !

Lovely hotel, nice rooms, helpful staff and excellent breakfast! Very clean, nice decor. It is in the Art Nouveau area, which us definitely worth a look, and about 10 minutes walk from the Old Town through the park alongside the river that borders the city. Take a town walk with a guide - we went on a free walk, for which we tipped well - for Riga's interesting history. Lovely people as well. We loved it.

The host was lovely and made us feel very welcome. They contacted us in advance to understand how we wanted the room to be set up as we were travelling as a family, and accommodated our need for an early morning check out. The garden and garden view are also lovely. There was some ant powder in the property when we stayed which might not be good if you're travelling with small children, but wasn't a problem for us.

We got off at the first stop after crossing the bridge (bibliotecka - library) and we used Google maps to check we were heading in the right direction and to locate the hotel. Excellent hotel near the old town & everything within walking distance. Was here over new year. Disappointed that the bar was closed by 12.30 on New Year’s Eve. Breakfast was excellent but the plates were cold everything you would want for breakfast was there. Spa was excellent first day was so busy so we decided to go after breakfast about 9 am & in the evening about 8 was quiet. & more manageable a lot of kids in during the day. Will definitely go back here.
