Kipsala International Exhibition Centre
6.0/10 (2 reviews)
Kipsala International Exhibition Centre is worth a pic or two when discovering Kipsala. Our travellers also like the cathedral and art galleries in the area.
One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the location which, whilst stone throws away from city centre, still put us in the more quite part of the town not far from some nice parks and the airport. The hotel was recently opened and everything felt brand new. It had a good vibe and upon arrival we were greeted by the staff, who for most part seemed to be very young, but very polite and professional. The checkin was smooth and we quickly were able to get in to our room, which was well...

Excellent hotel- they just get everything right, even dealing with problems. At one point we were miscommunicated breakfast time but the staff were so fantastic at dealing with the problem by ensuring that we were looked after that it not only wasn’t a problem - it was turned into a big positive. They take customer service very seriously. Excellent experience all round - other hotels could learn a lot. Great food. Lovely location. And very quiet l. All round well done !

The Konventa Sēta Hotel is centrally located. 35mins from the airport using bus 22. We got off at the first stop after crossing the bridge (bibliotecka - library) and we used Google maps to check we were heading in the right direction and to locate the hotel. It was a short 10mins walk. The hotel is situated in the old part of the city, the beautifully cobble streets just adds to the overall attractiveness. The hotel is made up of a cluster of old convent buildings with a courtyard linking them...

Great location, very clean, good breakfast
The only gripe was that due to diplomats and politicians staying at the hotel the road was closed so we had to walk with our bags for our Bolt to the airport
First world problems 😀

Lovely hotel, nice rooms, helpful staff and excellent breakfast! Very clean, nice decor. It is in the Art Nouveau area, which us definitely worth a look, and about 10 minutes walk from the Old Town through the park alongside the river that borders the city. Take a town walk with a guide - we went on a free walk, for which we tipped well - for Riga's interesting history. Lovely people as well. We loved it.

Excellent hotel near the old town & everything within walking distance. Was here over new year. Disappointed that the bar was closed by 12.30 on New Year’s Eve. Breakfast was excellent but the plates were cold everything you would want for breakfast was there. Spa was excellent first day was so busy so we decided to go after breakfast about 9 am & in the evening about 8 was quiet. & more manageable a lot of kids in during the day. Will definitely go back here.

Beautiful hotel with good facilities, soft furnishings make this a high end hotel in new state of repair. In an excellent location for exploring old town. The hotel staff were really helpful, friendly and fun. Breakfast was included and is cooked to order, not just buffet which was also included if preferred.
I really couldn't fault the hotel or staff. We had an atrium room, which was always very quiet. The downside is that the room only had windows to the atrium, therefore no external...

There is no temperature control in the room except for radiators this means that it gets hot in the day during summer and then just a bit too cold at night. This could be controlled I guess by switching on the radiators on a thermostat but I did not see one in the room. The hotel is quite a long way from the centre of town so get a taxi first time you go. There is a strange situation with taxi's where some cars are much more expensive.
The bar is good though and when I got back late at night...

Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates might help you save on your stay at a hotel in Kipsala. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is relatively high, we’ll suggest alternative dates that may be more affordable, helping you to secure a better deal.
Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres can offer convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the sites you intend to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which are usually more likely to provide a genuine and budget-friendly experience.
